About the event

Syria, Libya and for many years Putin's ongoing aggressions in and towards Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova. What are the issues at stake? What is the current situation in Ukraine? Is the West helpless? Is Germany, the most important EU country, denying reality in its relationship with Putin, and not only since the delivery of 5,000 helmets?

Have significant forces in business and politics given up their instinct for self-preservation in order to support a chancellor employed in Moscow? Are there still forces in Germany that stand up for what the Federal Republic and the EU were created for, for human dignity, freedom, democracy and the rule of law? What about solidarity in the EU and beyond in Europe? What is the advice of our Ukrainian friends?

The event will take place online in the style of a moderated table discussion to which all participants are invited. We hope to gain new insights from the invited experts, and perhaps also hints for a future strategy.
